Welcome to StoryChat.AI application (hereinafter referred to as "the application"). These Terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") are intended to regulate your (hereinafter referred to as the "User") behavior and rights when using the application provided by us. Please read these Terms carefully before using the application. By accessing or using the application, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions of these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use the application. StoryChat.AI is a mobile application that provides AI chat and storytelling experiences, aiming to bring users a relaxed and enjoyable interactive experience. We are committed to providing high-quality content and a premium user experience to meet the needs and expectations of our users. These Terms are intended to ensure that the rights and obligations between users and us are clearly and fairly specified to establish a healthy and safe application environment.
1. Service Description
The StoryChat.AI application is designed to provide users with AI chat and storytelling experiences. the application offers various characters, including characters in chat mode and story mode, with which users can interact. Characters in chat mode have different personality traits, and users can engage in conversations with them to experience different chatting pleasures. Characters in story mode start with different stories, and users can choose to read the characters' storytelling or engage in chat interactions with them, immersing themselves in the storylines. The content and features of the application may be updated and improved based on user feedback and technological advancements. We are committed to providing a premium user experience and reserve the right to make changes or adjustments to the application at appropriate times. Users can stay informed about the latest features and improvements through application updates.
2. User Account
Users do not need to register an account actively to use the features and services of the application. When users enter the application, their device's Google advertising ID (GAID) will be used as the user identifier for registration. By using the application, users are deemed to agree to use their GAID as the user identifier and accept the binding of these Terms. Users who register with their device's GAID as the user identifier must comply with all terms and conditions related to the account. Users are solely responsible for the use and confidentiality of their GAID and must not disclose their GAID information to any other person or entity; otherwise, they will bear corresponding responsibilities. Users understand and agree that we reserve the right, at our discretion, to request users to provide additional relevant information to verify their identity. The StoryChat.AI application is only intended for users aged 18 and above. Users under the age of 18 are not allowed to use this application. Users shall be fully responsible for any consequences resulting from minors using this application. If users violate the age restrictions, we reserve the right to terminate or suspend the provision of services to them immediately.
3. User Code of Conduct
When using the application, you may not intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws. Users may not engage in any means to maliciously attack, disrupt, or interfere with the application, including but not limited to viruses, trojans, and network attacks. Users may not attempt to circumvent or disrupt the security measures of the application in any way, or attempt to access or use any part of the application or related systems without authorization. Users may not use the application to engage in any activities that may harm other users or us, including but not limited to phishing, online fraud, and malicious software distribution.
4. AI Character Description
The StoryChat.AI application provides various types of characters, including characters in chat mode and characters in story mode. Each character has different personality traits. Users can chat with different characters or read the characters' storytelling, experiencing different interactive pleasures. Please note that the characters and plots in the application are fictional and do not represent any real individuals or events. The content of dialogues and stories is generated by AI Characters and is for entertainment and reference purposes only. Users should maintain rationality during use and should not regard it as real events or facts. Characters are divided into three categories: free characters, paid characters, and VIP characters. Free characters are available to all users, paid characters require users to purchase them before use, and VIP characters are privileged characters enjoyed by subscription users. Interacting with characters in chat or story mode requires the consumption of points, see the points usage instructions for details.
5. Points Usage Instructions
The StoryChat.AI application uses points as virtual currency for users to interact with characters and generate images. Each point corresponds to 100 tokens. Users can earn points by purchasing them or completing specific tasks. Each interaction with characters in the application, whether in chat mode or story mode, consumes a certain number of points. For subscribers, generating images when creating characters also requires consuming a certain number of points. The number of points consumed per interaction is calculated by AI based on the interaction content, which is then converted into tokens, and the points consumed are calculated based on tokens. When the remaining points are less than 1, content generation cannot continue. Points are limited to internal use within the application and do not have currency exchange properties. They cannot be withdrawn or transferred to others in cash or any other form. Users may not obtain or use points in any illegal or non-compliant manner. Upon the user's first use of this app, they will be gifted a certain number of Bonus Points. The remaining points can be viewed under the Profile menu after opening the application. Subscribers will be given a certain number of Bonus Points each subscription cycle. The Bonus Points are valid within the cycle. any unused Bonus Points within the cycle will not carry over to the next cycle. Users can check the points given for each package in the Subscription Center when subscribing. For users who purchase the lifetime plan, please refer to the subscription instructions for details on the Bonus Points given. Users can purchase different point packages through the Point Store module, and the purchased points are valid indefinitely. We reserve the right to change the rules for point consumption and acquisition methods (including changing point packages and prices) at any time. We will notify users of such changes through updated versions of the application or notifications. Users continue to use the application, indicating their agreement to be bound by the revised point usage rules.
6. Subscription Instructions
The StoryChat.AI application provides subscription services, and subscribers can enjoy additional services and privileges. Subscription plans include weekly subscription plans, monthly subscription plans, and lifetime purchase plans. Subscribers will receive a certain number of Bonus Points for each subscription cycle. Bonus Points are valid within the cycle, and any unused Bonus Points within the cycle will not carry over to the next cycle. Subscribers can access exclusive VIP characters, enjoy an ad-free app experience, and create their own characters. After the subscription cycle ends, the user's subscription will automatically renew unless the user manually cancels the auto-renewal in the Google Play Store. Users who purchase lifetime plans will pay a one-time fee to permanently enjoy subscription privileges. They will receive a certain number of Bonus Points each month. Upon successfully purchasing the lifetime plan, users will receive the Bonus Points for that month. Subsequently, on the monthly anniversary of their lifetime plan purchase, they will receive the Bonus Points for that month. Any unused Bonus Points from the previous month will reset to zero. We reserve the right to change the content and prices of subscription plans at any time, and will notify users of such changes through updated versions of the application or notifications. Users continue to use the application, indicating their agreement to be bound by the revised subscription plans.
7. AI Generated Content Description
Everything characters say or generate is made up. The results generated by characters may contain errors or inaccuracies. Users should understand and accept that the characters in the application are purely fictional and do not represent any real individuals or events. The content of dialogues and stories is for entertainment and reference purposes only and should not be considered as real events or facts. Although we have made every effort to train and optimize the artificial intelligence models, we cannot guarantee that the dialogues and stories generated will be completely accurate or meet users' expectations. Users should maintain rationality when using the application and should not rely entirely on the results generated by artificial intelligence. We do not assume any responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or reliability of the dialogues and stories generated by characters, and users should exercise their own judgment and assume risks while using the application. If users find that the content generated by characters in the application contains restricted content and does not comply with existing Google Play Developer Policies, they can use the [Bad response] function to report it. We will use user-reported information as a basis for improving the application's content filtering and management mechanisms to promote responsible innovation. Users understand and accept that we have the final interpretation of the handling results of reports on AI-generated content and do not assume any responsibility for any consequences arising from handling reports.
8. Limitation of Liability
Users understand and agree that there are risks associated with using the application. We will endeavor to ensure the security and stability of the application, but we cannot guarantee that the application will be free from interruption, delay, failure, or errors. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses or damages incurred by users' use or inability to use the application. This includes but is not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or other economic losses. Users understand and agree that we shall not be responsible for any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential losses or damages incurred by users or any third party as a result of using the application, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), or other legal theories. Users understand and agree that we shall not be responsible for the advertisements provided by third parties, nor for any transactions or communications between users and any advertisers or third parties. Users shall bear any risks or losses incurred by clicking on advertisements or participating in advertising activities.
9. Amendment of the Agreement
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of use at any time, and we will notify users by publishing updated versions on the application or sending notifications. Users continue to use the application, indicating their agreement to be bound by the revised Terms of use. We recommend that users regularly check for updates to the Terms of use and understand their changes.
10. Termination of the Agreement
Users may terminate this Terms of use agreement at any time by ceasing to use the application. Users can terminate by ceasing to access the application and deleting the application from their devices. In the event of force majeure causing the application to be removed or unable to operate normally, we may terminate or suspend the provision of services to users. Force majeure events include but are not limited to natural disasters, wars, government actions, network failures, supplier or partner failures, and other unforeseen or uncontrollable events. In such cases, we will make every effort to notify users and take reasonable measures to reduce inconvenience or losses caused by the termination or suspension of services. We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend the provision of services to users if they violate any terms of this Terms of use agreement or engage in illegal activities. After the termination of the agreement, users should immediately stop using the application. Users understand and agree that we shall not be liable for any losses or damages incurred after the termination of the agreement.
11. Intellectual Property
The StoryChat.AI application and all original content, including but not limited to text, images, icons, audio, video, software, code, and other materials, are protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, display, publish, or exploit any original content in the application in any form without prior authorization from us or the relevant rights holders. The trademarks, logos, and service marks (collectively referred to as "Trademarks") contained in the application belong to us or the relevant rights holders. Users may not use or display these Trademarks in any way without prior written authorization. Any content uploaded, published, or transmitted by users through the use of the application, including but not limited to text, images, audio, and video (hereinafter referred to as "User Content"), shall be owned by users or they must have obtained legal authorization. For content obtained from the Internet and modified by users, they must ensure that they have the right to use it and comply with the relevant licenses and restrictions of the original content. Users understand and agree that uploading, publishing, or transmitting User Content does not mean waiving ownership or intellectual property rights. However, users grant us and our affiliates a free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and global license to use, copy, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, display, and otherwise use User Content for the operation and improvement of the application and the provision of related services. If users believe that any content in the application infringes their or others' intellectual property rights, they can contact us through the designated contact information, and we will take appropriate action as soon as possible.
